Wat maak jy goes live
Posted by Steve himself - 27/03/08 at 05:03:35 pmI have just released my latest little project, and its called wat maak jy. To the international audience who do not speak Afrikaans that means what are you doing in English. And that’s basically what the website is all about; letting people know what you are up to. For people who use Facebook or any other social network, it’s like doing profile updates, and that’s all. No profile, no pictures, no poking, just updates.
All I provide is a platform on which to share information with other people, and you, the user, decide what you would like to share. If you feel like sharing some news, your thoughts, where you are, links to interesting blogs you’ve read, names of cool restaurants, clubs, bars, exhibitions or shops that you have found to be interesting and would like to share, even if you are bored and are looking for something to do, ask everyone if there is something cool to do and see which answers you get.
You think it up, you post it!
One of the key features of the site is the mobile app which can be downloaded to your phone which allows you to submit posts from your phone! So even if you aren’t near a computer, you can still share stuff.
I hope that some of you will find this service useful; as time goes by I will add new features to the online and mobile version of wat maak jy. For more details check out the help and how to sections.
Happy posting
